a lousy job of making things easy. Don't go to Jumpline.Throughout the years, internet marketers have tried various packaging techniques. Now we can upload files and make file edits, but, we're still hanging out in cyberspace unprotected. I upload all my files and get everything set. I'm using php with an RSS feed imbedded. I think everything is ok. Wrong! :-( After logging out I check the web site. Oh! Oh! No RSS feeds. I get in touch with their support by phone and I'm told that there must be something wrong with my code. I check it against the code in my other working websites, not Jumpline, and find out there is nothing wrong with the code. Am I mortified? You bet. Nowhere on the Customer Manager, or the VDS Manager, is there any indication that something else has to be done in order for RSS to work. I search and search but cannot find any way to make the RSS work correctly. Now I'm really mortified.(:-() Well, I figure, that is not good, but tough. I guess I just have to put up with it. I have to get that from my current registrar. Oh no! It's Jumpline again. I set out to find my EPP/Auth code from Jumpline. Here we are, hanging out, in cyberspace again. Jeez, why can't it just be easy? Go to your Domain Manager I'm told and you can get that information with this user name and password. Ok, I start looking for my Domain Manager. Uh huh! Can't find it. Meanwhile I find out that they do do RSS feeds but you have to go through a special process for it to work. Still haven't found my Manager. Send email to support. Waiting, waiting. Get email back. I have to go to a completely different web site and enter a username and password that they give me. Done. Finally I have my EPP/Auth code. Whew! Now I'm switching. Goodbye Jumpline. :-) I hope I wasn't too hard on them. You just have to be sure, when you're selecting web-hosting, to get some recommendations and ask some questions.
