But how do you make such a favicon?
In the first place you must make an icon or have one. You must give this icon the name "favicon.ico". There are many sites where you can get free icons, e.g. iconarchive.com. Download one you like and rename it to "favicon.ico". You can devise yourself your own unique icon with a free icon editor, e.g. www.webattack.com/get/iconediter.shtml.
If you have finished your icon, place it in the same directory (map) as your homepage and put it on the server (upload/publish). If someone add your Internet site to there Favorites, it will show your favicon. If you test this yourself it is possible that nothing happens on your computer, because the website was already in your Favori
