Implementing A Successful PR Campaign - PR Does Not Stand For Press Release to rise as does the number of people living at poverty level. We borrow from Peter to pay Paul and put ourselves further and further in the hole. Peter and Paul (the rich) get richer and we have to get another job just to make ends meet. And then we really hate our primary job because if it paid better, I would have enough money to pay my bills and buy some of the things that I want and have more time to do what I want. And then I would be happier. There’s no denying that the Internet is allowing more and more entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and effectively market their new products. However, there seems to be an increasingly common misconception when these businesses try to generate media attention and publicity for their products or businesses. Over the past several years, I have ha So, what is it th Promotional Pens and the Art of Color Why do 80% of Americans hate their jobs? It is a question that is asked by employers quite often and is answered by the American worker every minute of every hour of every day. There are several reasons that quickly come to mind - we have to work too many hours per day, too many days per week, the pay stinks, the people that we work with are incompetent - just to name a few. When it comes to promoting businesses, few approaches are as popular or as wide spread as promotional pens. Pens are small, easy to carry, extremely useful to just about anyone anywhere, and are easy to give away to your customers, possibly to be passed on to potential clients in the future where new business can take root and grow. At least half that time is spent taking care of ourselves and the household. What kind of quality time is that? Most of the American workers believe that they work with incompetents – their co-workers, their bosses, their subordinates. You know the saying – “It’s hard to soar with the eagles when you’re surrounded by turkeys.” What makes it more interesting is that not only am I thinking this about the people that I work with – they are thinking this about me. Unfortunately, we are spending way too much time attempting to convince whoever is listening that we are right and the other person is wrong. And heaven forbid we actually discuss the issue with the person that we disagree with. What has become of the concept of compromise? Why can’t we all just get along? And now for the biggie!! The average American worker does not get paid sufficiently for the work that he/she does. (In the case of women, unfortunately it is probably true, but we won’t go there.) As it is said those that do 80% of the work get paid 20% of the money. The cost of living continues to rise as does the number of people living at poverty level.
