Do Correct Investment in Business Opportunities
Business opportunities are only good when you know what you want and what you are doing. All to often people let a good business opportunity pass them by or they will jump into something when they really don’t know what they are getting themselves into. The business opportunities are only as good as the person who is investing in them. If you do things correctly then your business will grow and expand. There some things that you should keep in mind when you are looking to get involved in some business opportunities. You should never believe claims that you can make money with little no effort. Any business opportunity that you come across will require that you put in the time and effort in order to make this business opportunity work. If you are not willing to put in the effort then there is not guarantee that you business opportunities will flourish. If you are interested in certain business opportunities than you should get all needed information in writing before you commit to anything. If you are in contact that with someone who is selling a fra

Some businesses are afraid to leave a clear indication of what they offer because they are worried about their competitors finding out information about them. Your competitors can easily find this information out anyway if they choose to, and all you are really doing is losing potential customers as they leave your website because they are not clear about what you are offering.

    Medical Billing - EA0 Record Fields 1 Through 9
When doing medical billing of claims by electronic means, the EA0 record that gets transmitted is one of the largest records in a claim file, containing 55 unique fields that need to be sent. These fields give the payer information about the claim itself including when the condition was diagnosed to what the condition is, indicated by a number of very cryptic codes. We're going to be starting a multi part series on the EA0 record with this article.EA0 field 1, positions 1 - 3, is the record type, which needs to be filled with EA0. Anything else in this field and the claim will be denied.EA0 field 2, positions 4 - 5, is reserved for future use. Like all the other fields in NSF 3.01 specifications, it is unlikely that this field will ever be used if it hasn't by now.EA0 field 3, positions 6 - 22, is the patient ID number. This number must match the patient ID number transmitted in the CA0, DA0 and all other records being sent that contain patient information.EA0 field 4, position 23, is the condition employment related field. Thi
So, you're ready to build a new website, and you have been shopping around for a web design company, or about to build the website yourself. If you haven't chosen a web design company yet, I encourage you to read part 1 of this series.

Now that you are ready to start designing your website, you need to put a plan in place for what you want your website to achieve. Planning is a very important component in getting ready to build your website, and to see what is necessary for its design. If you don't plan properly, and don't think of everything you will need before the website is built, you may find your costs will skyrocket simply because of the additions you need to include. Of course the web design company you have chosen--if you are using one--should be able to guide you in the right direction, but no-one knows your business like you do, so both parties should be involved in the planning.

    Planning

Define the purpose of your website.

What do you want your website to achieve for you? It is important that you clearly understand the purpose of your own website. Websites can be used for different purposes, such as:

    • Marketing, branding, site positioning
    • Promotional campaign site
    • Transactional sales-oriented site
    • Customer service support site
    • How to instructional site
    • Product or service demonstration site
    • Lead generation site
    • Viral or buzz creation site

    Who your target market is?

What type of visitor to your website are you trying to attract? I come across many small to medium businesses that don't have a clear definition of who their target customer is. The clearer the understanding you have, the easier it will be for you to connect with your target audience and the more successful your website will be. If your website is not clear in what you offer, then it is highly likely you will quickly lose these visitors.

The Greatest Salesman In The World
Today I met the greatest salesman in the world. I was looking for a B2B supplier of desktop widgets and he’s a sales rep with Big Widget Worldwide Co. I just happened upon him by chance. And, no, his name is not Zig Ziglar, Jay Conrad Levinson, Anthony Robbins, Stephan Schiffman, or Neil Rackham. He does not have a memorable household name; his name was Mike Smith. Such an ordinary name but he was an extraordinary person. After all, he is a top sales professional, a super seller, the greatest salesman in the world. How do I know that he is the greatest salesman in the world? Guiness Book Of Records doesn’t have a category for that. The truth is, I don’t know. I work for a big corporation and dozens of salespeople come in and out of my office every day pitching their goods and services. I’ve heard all of the sales pitches, all of the hard sells, and all of sales closes imaginable. That’s not to mention the cold calls I get every day. I’ve seen it all. The reason I think he is the greatest is because he didn’t find me, I found him. I searched for desk

Why Being An Entrepreneur Is Nothing Special
Being an entrepreneur, whether of a multi-million dollar corporation and especially of a home business, is nothing special. It usually does not take special skills, or special abilities. Now, you may think I'm making a bold statement here, and you're probably tired of reading that many entrepreneurs are normal people just like you and me. You may still hold on to your beliefs that a successful is lucky or possesses skills and talents that you do not have. Well, I'm here to refute those suggestions in this article. How does one become an A student in school, a top-class athlete or an entrepreneur who generates profits? Is it because they are special? Yes, some may be born with a higher IQ or a better physique, but what separates success from failure is the willingness to study and then implement in habits.School has made many people despise books. And that is why what most people are learn are from textbooks, their friends and their parents. This is the path to become an employee, which the whole educational system has created. If one wa

Take the time to look at some websites that you like--and don't like. Write down what appeals to you and what doesn't. Use these points to refine your website.

Does your website portray the same message as the rest of your marketing? Often businesses forget that a website is a part of the overall marketing mix, communicating who you are, what you do, and why you do it better than your competitor. Marketing is also about branding, and positioning your business. If this is done properly you will stand out from the crowd. Does your website honestly reflect this? Make sure that your website is consistent with the rest of your marketing mix.

    Marketing your website

Do you want to attract business through the search engines? This may seem a simple question, but many people think it is enough to build a website and the traffic will come. I come across people all the time that still think that being found through the search engines is not important, only to find six months down the track how important it really is.

A recent client approached us to add the finishing touches to their e-commerce site. During this process, one of the questions I asked was, how they were planning to market their site as it was purely an online selling tool with no 'bricks-and-mortar' business associated with it. The response was; "I don't know, I thought I would build the site first and work that out later".

Unfortunately this is not an uncommon approach these days when it is quite easy and cheap to get an online business up and running.

Many people don't realize that whether you have a 'bricks-and-mortar' business, or your business is entirely online, it takes planning and hard work for your business to be successful. There were a number of reasons why this website would not work well:

    • It was built entirely using only graphics -ven the text was in graphics-. On an ADSL 2 conne
