What Does Your Business Card Say About You? - Making A Great First Impression!
Interesting article in USA Today that I read this week that I've also read about on Scott Ginsberg's blog. Think about this: What does your business card say about you? If you work in a company that requires you to conform to the corporate standard, obviously you don't have much choice. For the rest, what are you doing to stand out in a crowd of many?A few suggestions from me that may or not be found in the above articles:Use wild, interesting colors. Do you want to see a red card, or a white card? I choose red.Use as little information as possible that is boring, and as much information as possible that is interesting. This means your fax number and mailing address are likely irrelevant, and what your value differentiating factor is is likely very relevant. Instead of "designer" how about "Designer to the Stars?" Dot Net Component: CLR and Com - Decom
Dot Net have an important component that is CLR. No my point of view its not component, I think it provides runtime environment infrastructure to application. Lets take some overview of it.First of all we need some source code that needed by CLS. It must be in CLS – complaint languages. Now the next step that comes is, CLS compiles the source code generate the Intermediate code (MSIL) and Meta Data. The MSIL (Microsoft Intermediate Language) contains some instructions that relates to C.P.U. Just like how to load, store, initialize and call methods on objects. In MSIL instructions are also there just like perform arithmetic and logical operations, memory directly access, flow of execution, handle exception. Because before execution MSIL we need CPU specific instructions. And to execute the code, the runtime requires information about the code
Back in May of this year I talked about wanting to and the world of domaining. I finally did and for the last six months I've been tracking how I've been buying, and recently selling domain names. I've done decent at it, making a 65% return on investment, and thought I would write about my foray into domaining in a 5 part series titled Domaining for Beginners.

How Can a Voice Over Artist Help You?
Even though they hear them all the time, in many surprising places, many people may not be aware just how prevalent professional voice talent is in this world of ours. There is simply a lot of need for professional speaking to make certain projects happen. It's just that we are so used to hearing it, we hardly even notice it. But if you have a project that could benefit from professional voice talent, it is in your best interest to consider the many ways that voice over artists can be useful. You may have already considered advertising jingles and TV promotions. Those are difficult to forget about. But a lot of people don't consider using professional vocal talent to help create a podcast to make an announcement about an event or about a great new moneymaking website. Those are just the sorts of projects, however, for which you will want to conside

Communication - The Lifeblood of a Project
As blood flows, it pumps oxygen through the body to sustain life. Likewise, communication is the lifeblood of projects and organizations. Just as the heart works to distribute oxygen throughout the body, the project manager continuously circulates project information from the external stakeholders to the project plan documentation, to the internal stakeholders, to the project plan. This cycle of communication and information flow is iterative and continues throughout the life of the project. Without it, stakeholders and the project team can be left wondering where things stand and what decisions have been made. The communication plan—like the project plan—is a necessary part of the project. However, when thinking of the project manager's role in communication planning, organizations and project teams too often think solely of the documents that est

The Sales vs Education Marketing Approach
As you begin to formulate and execute your individualized marketing plan, it becomes important to acknowledge and identify the two styles of marketing—Sales and Education.I found that personally I was very turned off by what felt to me like hard sell, yellow-boxed, bonus laded, you-can’t-live-without-it sales pages while other people responded well to them. I also know they make money. However, I knew that was not my personal style and I wasn’t certain if that were the only way, that I could do it. I was attracted to a more gentle approach. Fortunately, a friend pointed out that there were two distinct approaches to marketing. Once was sales the other was education. Both are valued, both are successful. It helps to know which one you are.In any team-building or coaching environment where people are learning to market their own business, we

Finding the Right Online Advertising Company for Your Business
There are a multitude of advertising options on the Internet. Finding the one that's right for your needs can be a challenge. Before choosing a company to help with your online advertising, you should think about what it is you're really trying to accomplish, and what you really need from that company. Your options can range from running a simple classified ad on Craigslist, to contracting with a major agency for a complete online marketing program and website redesign. The first thing you need to decide is whether your online advertisement will run long-term or short-term. If you're simply needing to run an ad to hire a new receptionist you may not need it for longer than a few days. If you're wanting to generate ongoing sales over a long period of time, there are several different types of advertising companies to

My domaining skills are decent, however I must warn you, there are a lot more people making a lot more money, buying, selling and parking domain names. I'm just here to give you a primer on what I've done and how it's worked. Take what you will and use it or toss it. I don't claim to be an expert, I just feel like sharing my small success.
