CBMall - Affiliates Dream Come True? know php to build a template for wordpress from scratch.CBMall is a complete, easy to set up virtual shopping mall created by Jeff Mulligan for those who wish to start a home-based Internet business. While the concept of creating a shopping portal is not new, Jeff had managed to put together a system where anyone can use, even for those who are not exactly tech-savvy.This unique system is built around one of the most popular affiliate network around - Clickbank. This itself is a major part of CBMall's ap As a comparison between blogger and wordpress the both have some minuses. But if it weren't for those 2 big giant's you couldn't get a free blog with no adds. Your blog entry could have been full of adds. The third and the last in this list is BH (BlogHoster). A couple of blogs which offer this kind of blogging platform are blogsarena.com and clearblogs.com (I chose the ones that looked interesting). The best thing in those two domains is that it's free and they have no adds. As usability and template coding is very easy to use, Placing a Link on Your Auction Page Pointing to Your About Me Page Choosing a blog platform can sometimes be tricky, especially if you don't have any kind of experience and didn't used any of it.The About Me page on eBay is a very powerful tool when used correctly. This page can be used to sell the reader, sign the reader up for your list, or communicate with the viewer of your auction to establish a closer relationship. In order to increase the chance of a person going to your About Me page from your auction page, you should put a link on every auction page that points to your About Me page. Let's discuss how to do this.We will need At first I will start with Wordpress. Wordpress is in the top of the list in my opinion. Free to use, easy to install. In just two easy steps you could start blogging in no time. All you have to do is edit wp-config-sample.php with any kind of text editor and fill in your database connection info then rename the wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php and you're done. You still have another option to install your wordpress blog: going to the install url without modifying the wp-config-sample.php but you will need to chmod to 777 a file in wp-admin/setup-config.php and add the necessary info to wp-config.php from your browser. That was an easy install !!!. Now your wordpress content links don't look too seo friendly and you will have to adjust that and do a small adjustment to your permalink wich looks something like ?p=1 . You obviously want to change that (or maybe not). All you have to do is login in your wordpress then clicking Options and select Permalinks. You can select the way your links look or you can specify your own. Ex:/%category%/%postname%/ In my opinion I think this is the best permalink, but you can always tweak it for your own satisfaction. To do this very fast you must chmod to 777 the .htaccess file so that you can modify the looking of your permalink without modifying the file every time you want to make a change, then you can reverse it to chmod 644. Anyway if you don't want to do all of that and you think is too much for yourself, you can always get your free blog at wordpress.com. Now that I finished with wordpress I can take on another blogging platform (Oh this gave me a head each). Second in my list is blogger.com. The blogging platform from blogger is simple and you can install it on your own domain but you still have to log into blogger.com to post on your blog which I don't like it too much. I want to be in control of my actions and I would like to see in the near future the blogger going to open source so that everybody can use it at his own domain (that will never happen); The blogger permalinks are very seo friendly. You can easily upload photos and post it in your blog entries. The template customization it's easy. In wordpress it's harder you will have to know php to build a template for wordpress from scratch. You can select the way your links look or you can specify your own.We all know that Google went public a few years back, and ever since they did we've seen nothing but higher and higher, and more and more competitiveness when it comes to their pay-per-clicks. Many web businesses have literally either refused to pay for them as they claim they are just too expensive.Even affiliates have been affected (perhaps the most!) as what once used to be the "easy days" of just enrolling into someone's affiliate program and th Ex:/%category%/%postname%/ In my opinion I think this is the best permalink, but you can always tweak it for your own satisfaction.
