    The Spring Clutch
Friction is the force that opposes the relative motion or tendency toward such motion of two surfaces in contact. It is not a fundamental force, as it is made up of electromagnetic forces between atoms. When contacting surfaces move relative to each other, the friction between the two objects converts kinetic energy into thermal energy, or heat. The mathematical theory behind the Spring Clutch was developed by C.F Wiebusch in 1939. Although he analyzed the action between two cylinders placed end to end, rotating on a common axis and torsionally coupl

Why Would You Need To Use A Business Card? Part II
High-volume businesses can offset these costs in revenue, but for small or client-based businesses, a print advertisement can mean the difference between profit and loss--and not to your business's advantage.Radio or TV advertising is also a popular option for many businesses: for a few hundred dollars, you can buy advertising space in popular programs or between music playlists. Radio and TV advertising has the potential to reach an even wider audience than print advertising, and the increased technological possibilities--music, a good announcer,
Recently after designing a website for my family and showing them what terms our website comes under in the search engines, I noticed they don't really know how to search to find what they want. These are people I thought were pretty computer literate, as they have had a computer as long as I can remember. If my family doesn't know how to search I am sure there are many other people out there too, who don't know how to search. Even if you are computer literate, this article will still be beneficial to you as you need to know how to find what you want on the Internet. As you know some of the results are not always what you are looking for.

I recently read a newsletter I had received which had some interesting statistics. Did you know that when a searcher does not find the information they are looking for they believe their keywords are wrong? After you read this article you will be able to find what you want unless it doesn't exist and chances of that are rare.

How to search within a website
For the remainder of this article we are going to be using Google as an example. Let's say we are looking at the site www.imaginarysite.com and we want to find what pages have the word "financial" on it. You would type in Google: financial site: www.imaginarysite.com and it would return all the results within www.imaginarysite.com . This would be useful if the website you were looking at did not have a search option.

Promo Items to Help You Sell
Put your name everywhere, pens, pencils, and notepads, everything a potential customer will use and so keep your name in front of them.Printing materials does not have to be restricted to newsletters, flyers, white papers, books, etc. You can create any number of promo items. Pens seem to be a common one. When you think about it, people often feel the need to borrow a pen: why not give them one with your company name and information on it. And how often have you lent a pen and it was kept by the borrower, without thinking. You want to encourage this

    Career as a Toy Designer
One of the coolest jobs is to become a designer of consumer products and there is good pay in it. Think of the people who designed the Norelco Razors or the Automatic Tooth Brush or the iPod. Very fun stuff no doubt and all those we have interviewed love their jobs and liken it to designing futuristic cars for GM, Ford, Ferrari or Jaguar.Even former aerospace workers, NASA scientists and race car designers have in fact enjoyed their careers so much that they become designers of a different type after retirement. What do all these people really consi

How To Effectively Cold Call In Office Buildings
I remember how scared I was the first time I entered an office building to make cold calls. When I walked into the first office I think that the receptionist had noticed a sign on my forehead that said, “Hi, I’m here to sell you something.” I felt as if I was interrupting her day and then I began to have second thoughts about what I was doing here. Should I just go home? Maybe this is not for me? After my tenth office visit I became very frustrated and decided that my time was better spent making cold calls on the telephone. When I got back to my des

Finding sites that link to yours or another website
Finding sites that link to your website or a competitors website is an interesting tool. Sometimes the websites linking to your competitors will link to your website also. To search for links you must type link: imaginarysite.com. This will give you the results of all websites with links to your website that have been indexed by Google. If they have not been indexed those websites will not be listed.

    Finding definitions
This is an interesting type of search. For example you may be reading a website on marketing and keep seeing the term blog. You have absolutely no idea what a blog is. To find out in Google you would then type define: blog. The best use for this search is with technical terms that you might not know.

    Finding exact words
To find exact words that are in that order or grouped together, use quotation marks, for example "website design" or "purple monkey habits". Personally I find this search the best tools of all. A good use is when searching for articles and I am searching to see how many websites have my article. I would search "search engine basics" (which is the title of the article) and because there are a ton of websites with those three words together, I would add Alicia at the end without the quotation marks. Try it and see what shows up. This is especially useful to find more specific results.

Finding sites with a keyword in the address
To find keywords that are in the url (website address), for example type allinurl:
