How to Create A Positive Culture With Powerful Leadership rnaround of various companies. Renaissance Executive Forums is an international company dedicated to helping top executives accelerate positive changes in their businesses and in their lives.Traditional leadership models are constantly shifting because of increased competition and the need for key employees to perform at their best. Successful leaders in this new economy must be connected to their teams, have a powerful vision that is both tactical and strategic in focus, and be able to produce bottom line results. This shift in leadership focus has an added benefit—it leads to the creation of a positive, solution-oriented culture that increases productivity and employee loyalty. We have spent thousands of hours coaching successful leaders in the corporate world and financial industries, and we are seeing a new leadership model evolving. This shift takes the strengths of leadership styles from the past and adds the new dimension of coaching to produce elevated results…and it is validated by success stories that span the world, from companies among the Fortune 50 to entrepreneurs.Best of all, it is a simple model. There are seven steps which, when implemented, produce amazing results.Step 1: Visualize high-level outcomesThis step is much more than a goal-setting exercise. A goal would be "to increase sales by 25 percent" (which isn't specific...and doesn't inspire anybody!) This is a strategic vision that acts as a blueprint and a catalyst to action.A vision is inspiring, compelling, and pulls your team forward. One company executive asked, "The best-of-th The Group's Structure Any peer groups facilitated by Hutti consist of 10 to 12 same-level executives (usually CEOs) from similar sized, non-competing companies, with expertise spanning the areas of service, distribution, manufacturing, and retail. In this article, I'd like to share the benefits from the experience of someone who has seen real measurable benefits that far exceed the cost in time and money for being part of a facilitated peer group. This is the time of year to start working on your business plan.I have laid out a guideline for my team to follow and I believe if they work on these simple steps, success is all but guaranteed. The first step is to block out your calender, with your prospecting being your most important appointment of the day. Use a pencil (in case of changes) and block out all the times that are going to complete your day and do this well in advance of the day you are going to work on the task at hand. Many of you will say that your family is more important; it is acceptable to build your calender based on this approach. However, remember that airlines will tell you to put your oxygen mask on yourself first in order to be able to help the people beside you.Prospecting is the oxygen you will need to be successful in real estate sales as well s any other selling profession, if you want to help your family - look after your business and your business will look after you.You should also try to do some of your prospecting at the office as opposed to calling at home. If you have a hard time disciplining yourself to make the calls that are required to reach your goals it is probably because the couch is winning out over the phone.Follow these simple rules you will be on top of your game and sales and referrals will follow. More importantly if you can not master the phone or stopping in to vi To quote John Dini, owner of a peer-advisory franchise in San Antonio (The Alternative Board), the value of a peer group is that, "You get more out of discussing someone else's issue in a constructive manner than you do talking about your own." For many people, the ideal way to do this is in person since it bars the distrust and uncertainty that is sometimes bred by background distractions over the phone. And when you add a trained expert facilitator, you have a winning recipe: maximum benefit for the time and cost involved. "Of course, it's not always practical to meet in person, but many of the ideas presented here would work in facilitated peer group discussion using the telephone when geographic distance becomes a major hindrance," says Henry Barbey, director of the Center for Coaching and co-founder of Strategic Conversations". "Members of the same industry scattered throughout the country may find it valuable to share information, discuss business challenges and brainstorm about new ideas. In this case, facilitated peer group strategic conversations over the telephone can be the perfect solution." I recently interviewed Tony Hutti, who has personally experienced the amazing results that come out of facilitated peer groups. He has over 35 years of leadership and management experience and describes himself as a peer group facilitator or Forum Leader, for Renaissance Executive Forums. He has also been the CEO/Owner of three separate companies and has been the driving force in the turnaround of various companies. On one hand, you have the opportunity to build your dream trade - whether this involves manufacturing a product or providing a service. On the other hand, there's a great deal to think about in terms of initially starting your business and effectively expanding its various components. Moreover, you're likely to experience a host of doubts regarding anything from small product details to large management endeavours. So, is there anyone you can turn to for dependable advice in making such vital decisions, while still ensuring that your business - and its core attributes - remain your own?The answer is simple: there absolutely is. In fact, there are a number of resources that specialise in providing tailored advice and services for individuals who want to start their own business. For instance, in considering a business start-up, most people have a clear idea of the trade they'd like to pursue. However, many don't initially consider the "unseen" aspects of a business - such as the legal sector. That's exactly where specialised business support can help: you'll gain assistance in areas where you already have clear objectives, as well as in fields which you're still familiarising yourself with. One way to do this is to invest in a tailored start-up package. These packages include everything you nee For many people, the ideal way to do this is in person since it bars the distrust and uncertainty that is sometimes bred by background distractions over the phone. That’s right – one. I’ve never been fond of new year’s resolutions, for all the reasons most observers report. However, I am completely in favor of identifying a theme for the year. The theme is a guide for decisions you make throughout the year. It’s not a way to stifle you or shut you down. Some themes for your business could be one specific topic among many areas of your expertise. Or your theme might be product development or approaching a specific new audience or traveling more for business or staying within your own zip code as much as possible. Those are a few of many choices. What about the booklet or booklets you’ve already done or the one you are considering doing? View it as part of a bigger picture, fitting into a year-long theme. Is your booklet the first of a new product line for you, or the low-priced smaller addition to an existing product-line? Where can you go with it if your theme is product development? The booklet manuscript has at least a dozen or two ways it can be expanded and modified to be offered for sale. Write it once, leverage it many times. You can record it as an audio CD, make it into a card deck, expand it into a manual, or develop it into a teleclass or ecourse. All of these formats and many more can be offered as both hard copy and as digital downloads. None of them begin with the idea they’ll fail, in fact they have high hopes of success, but they fail all the same. One of the main reasons for the high failure rate is an over reliance on one marketing channel…the Internet.Marketing isn’t about using one medium. It’s about getting and keeping customers. Yes, Internet marketing can help you can do that but only if you use it in conjunction with other tactical tools. In addition there are thousands of potential customers that are extremely cautious about placing important business or buying an expensive item from an unknown online vendor. There are two type of customer. One is those who browse websites select the items and place the order. They do not waste so much time. They just start their pc, browse the site, select the item and pay through credit cards or any other cards after placing order. They use then and there rule to place order they want to shop for. Basically business mans come in this type of customer because they do not want to waste their important time and also money doesn’t matter for such type of customers. And the second customers are those who usually do window shopping. They browse the web sites, not one usually many web sites, compare which one is best, which dealer is providing good scheme or cash back, what are the latest brands in the market. When these members are looking for an idea that will help them take advantage of an opportunity or problem solve regarding an issue they're facing, they are able to pull information from the other 10 members in their group. Since some of the members have twenty-plus years of experience, an entire group might have 300 years of experience. The synergy of the peer group situation is unparalleled in any other forum. Certainly, the power of the collective minds offers optimal solutions to each business challenge. Once a peer group member describes an issue in a meeting, the facilitator and group members ask clarifying questions to better define the problem. "Members of a peer group tend to be frank in their responses," explains Hutti. "They have no reason to hold back since they are not from the same organization and don't have to concern themselves with office or family politics." With the problem clearly defined, other members in the group relate experiences where they have encountered similar situations and discuss how they handled them. The member who brought up the question takes the problem clarifications and experiential feedback into consideration, and then presents to the group his idea of how he or she is going to address the problem. At the next month's meeting, the member is expected to give a progress update, instituting accountability to the process. The issue of accountability is greatly needed by executives, says Hutti, who has been facilitating peer groups for over 10 years. "Most CEOs look for that and they don't get it from their staff; and they don't get it from their management team; and they really want someone to hold them accountable." Here's an example of how Hutti would keep everyone at a meeting on topic with the purpose of achieving focused results. Let's say one member of a group has a problem with a Sales Manager.
