The organization has a solid platform and is rapidly expanding across Canada and the U.S. It provides national exposure, training, networking opportunities, and support and resources for entrepreneurs and executives. Through this alliance, I saw the potential to integrate myself into my local business community while providing my fellow business owners with the venue to learn, connect and grow their businesses on a much larger scale. Training managers view it as something of a bugaboo. Most trainees greet it with about as much enthusiasm as they would a parallel parking contest. So what is it, why do we need it, and how can we best go about it?Well, government regulations and business best practices dictate that you not only conduct certain courses but also maintain records to show that they have been taken and understood by all concerned. Not offering such training can jeopardize the health and safety of your workers Sometimes acting on certain opportunities have brought me to dead ends. Mike had big dreams and had developed a plan for achieving those dreams. So he decided to drop out of college to start his business out of his garage with a little more than one thousand dollars. Everyone thought he was crazy and he took his share of harsh words from the people closest around him. Today that tiny startup company is the Dell Computer Corporation. Dell now averages around 30 million per day in online sales. A A year ago, I decided to open a chapter of a national women's business group in my city.
