I believe color has been with us since the beginning of time, as an energy and a vibration, long before human existence. There are certain meanings people have associated with certain colors; for example, the color red could mean anger or excitement or passion. This may be true as a general example, but I think each person has their own personal meaning and vibration with each color. And this personal meaning could be totally different in relation to each person’s healing energy. I think we need to be open to what each particular color means to us. How does this color make us feel? What does it make us think of? Can we sense it? What meanings or words are associated with it for us? This can also change for us over time. I believe color can help heal us in many ways and what one color may do for us today, may be totally different 6 months from now.
It is always best to follow our own intuition when it comes to colors and healing with color. We are each unique individuals who experience things differently. By meditating on a color and enveloping yourself in it and actually “becoming the color”, this can heal us at a very high vibrational level. This could be through visualization, but not necessarily so.
