    Email Marketing Warning
I hate to be a sour puss here, because email marketing is so effective, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind when you are email marketing: basically this is an email marketing warning! An email marketing campaign can be a successful way to spread the word about your business, but there are a few key things to keep in mind. The goal is to attract the recipients’ attention, not to become a cyber-pest! Email marketing can be an effective way to both notify current customers about sales, promotions and news, as well as attracting new customers to your business. The first and most important aspect of this kind of marketing is permission. While it may seem like simple common sense, getting the permission of your recipients is critical to fostering a positive relationship with them. Foregoing this step could lead to customers’ feelings of being pestered and invaded, which could lead to a loss of trust in your business and negative word-of-mouth – both of which are disastrous to any business. Also, keep your customers’ email addresses private. Do not distribute lists of your customers to other business, even if their willing to purchase these lists seems like a good financial decision, it too can result in a loss of trust on the part of the customer. In addition, make sure your customers know that you are committed to keeping their information private. Clearly outline your privacy statement near the top of your email so that there is no doubt as to whether it will be seen. When customers see that you have taken the time to ensure their privacy, they feel more comfortable. Further, this privacy statement holds you more accountable for your customers’ safety.Treat your email marketing

We have to be submissive to God and to the authority God has put us under, whether we like it or not this is God’s will for our lives, then we have the grace to withstand the devil in the day of evil. Paul ended the book of Ephesians with salutations and speaking grace to them. This was right after he told them to take up the whole armor of God and resist the devil. We see this common theme throughout the New Testament. Submit your self to God and his Word, and God will give you the grace and the ability to resist the devil, and be an over comer.

2 Corinthians 12:7. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Paul was talking about the revelation of the Gospel that was given to him, and starting with vs.7 we see that Satan sent a messenger to buffet Paul , one translation says: an angel of Satan, to beat me. Remember we just read the parable of the sower, Jesus said; persecution arises because of the Word. The Word is very clear, this thorn in the flesh was a messenger sent from Satan, as you can see in vs. 7. (a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan.) God wanted to exalt Paul, he was His me

3,200 Students Remain Excluded from Baltimore Schools Due to Required Vaccinations
In 2005, state legislators added two additional immunizations to the list that Baltimore schools must ensure all children through the ninth grade have before attending school. The first deadline for Baltimore schools’ children for the new vaccinations was the start of school for school year 2006-2007. Due to lack of compliance across the state, that deadline was extended to January 1, 2007. Students with scheduled appointments for the vaccinations were permitted to attend classes for two additional weeks. We are now in February and 3,200 Baltimore schools’ students remain out of school, because they have not received the hepatitis B and chickenpox immunizations. There still are a total of 12,000 excluded students across the state, who are not in compliance with the new requirements. Many state officials, as well as Baltimore schools’ administrators, cannot believe that such a problem exists. Though it was quite an undertaking, they did everything possible to ensure compliance. Working with state health officials, the Baltimore schools mailed letters to the students’ homes, telephoned the parents, assisted in scheduling vaccination appointments, held conferences with the students, and set up vaccination clinics with late hours where possible.Greg Reed, program manager for the state health department’s Center for Immunization, stated that the $1.3 million funding for the project was not received until September. That left very little time to set up free and reduced cost clinics across the state. Many schools, including some within the Baltimore schools, were left with no clinic assistance or lack of nursing staff for low-income families and parents who work long hours.Though many blame procrastinat
James 4:6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'' 7. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Grace is many things, I’ve heard it said that grace is God’s riches at Christ expense. I believe many people confuse God’s grace with God’s mercy. I like to think of grace among other things as God’s enabling power for us to do His will. He wants you to do His will and He will give you the ability to carry it out.

Romans 8:32. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?

God has freely given us all things, and what makes that an even more awesome fact is that He has given us the ability to receive it, and walk in it, that’s what grace is! Even the act of salvation comes by grace.

Eph:2:8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

God produces the faith in our heart when we hear the Word, and then He gives us the ability to go through with His will. His Word and his will are synonymous terms, so if you want to know what God’s will is then first find out from his Word. God’s Word is God’s will!

By grace you went from darkness unto light, by grace you have the ability to continue to walk in that light, when you are submitted to God’s Word, as we already read in James 4:6&7. 6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'' Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You notice it didn’t say he might flee from you, it says he will flee from you, when you are submitted to God. He has given you the grace to carry it out.

Peter said virtually the same thing, only in a slightly different way. 1 Peter 5:5. Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'' 6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Here again we see by the scripture, that first of all God gives us grace when we humble ourselves and are submitted. Another way of saying this is that He gives us grace when we are submitting ourselves to His will. James as well as Peter said nearly the same thing, after we are submitted to the will of God then resist the devil. Resisting the devil is God’s will or He wouldn‘t have told us to do it would He? No He wouldn’t. He will give us the grace and the ability to do it, and God will always back up His Word. You may ask why resisting the devil is God’s will. As Peter said in vs. 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9. Resist him, steadfast in the faith. It didn’t say he was a lion only like a roaring lion. He has a very big bark, but God has given us the tools to overcome him every single time, resisting him steadfast in the faith.

Then it goes on to say in vs. 10. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Why do we need to be strengthened by God? For what purpose? Just so we can stand up under the bullying of the devil? NO, he’s a bully alright, but we are given the grace to resist him. This is a trial of our faith, God will strengthen us, perfect us, establish us, and settle us, it will put us on a firm foundation, and as Peter said in vs. 9. knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. The sufferings he is talking about is the trial of our faith. If you look back at what Peter said in the 1st chapter, you’ll see what God thinks about this.

1 Peter 1:7. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

That’s a pretty good reason to submit ourselves to God isn’t it? God considers the trying of our faith as a precious thing. It is precious in His sight. Well then, let’s rejoice, and thank God for the opportunity to be a submitted child of God.

You can count on the devil trying to steal the Word from you every time you hear it. The Word tells us that Satan comes immediately to steal the Word. Remember the parable of the sower?

Matthew 13:18. "Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19. "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20. "But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21. "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the Word, immediately he stumbles. 22. "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23. "But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.''

Satan immediately comes to steal the Word from your heart. In every case the Word was sown into a heart, and faith was produced. But in only 25%, or one fourth of the people did faith produced fruit. Why? The people let Satan steal the Word, that‘s why! We have an obligation to receive the Word and stand in what we have received. Satan can not take the Word from us without our permission. God has given us the ability to stand up to the devil and receive the fruit of our faith. Paul started off talking about submission in the 6th chapter of Ephesians and end up talking about resisting the devil.

Ephesians 6:1. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2. "Honor your father and mother,'' which is the first commandment with promise: 7. with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8. knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. 9. And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. 10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 24. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Home Hair Care Tips for Dry Hair
Dry hair can be caused by the chemicals used in coloring, bleaching and highlighting. It can also be caused by too much heat, whether from the sun or from electric appliances such as curlers and blow dryers.Try these tips and remedies to give your hair body and shine quickly and easily!Try vinegarTo add a beautiful shine to your hair dilute apple-cider vinegar in water (one part vinegar to seven parts water) and rinse your hair with it after you shampoo. A vinegar rinse is great for over-processed hair, and it can also liven up a tired perm.Use mayonnaiseMany hair-care experts say that mayonnaise makes a good overall conditioner. Rub it into your hair, then leave it on for about 5 minutes, before shampooing it out thoroughly.Don't use hair tools too oftenOveruse of electric curlers, blow dryers, curling irons, straighteners etc. damages and dries out hair. If you're using these tools every day then your haircut isn't working for you. Try a different cut or even a loose perm etc. If you do use a blow dryer, try and use one with no more than 1,000 watts, and reduce the temperature and power level as your hair dries.Use your fingersInstead of using a blow dryer, gently fluff and style your hair with your fingers as it dries, always lifting the hair up off the scalp. Bending over as you do this allows gravity to contribute to extra fullness.Use a humidifierDry indoor air is bad for dry hair so when it's winter counteract the standard low-moisture environment with a humidifier. If the humidifier is located in the bedroom, your hair can benefit from 8 hours of added moisture every night.Limit sun exposure

I did a teleconference a few weeks ago with people who were new in sales and new to prospecting. The focus of the call was to help participants get beyond fear and understand their prospecting process. One of the participants on the call told me that she had been given the telephone prospecting script that her team leader uses to set appointments. The team leader was a highly successful sales professional who had been in the business for many years and made quite a lot of money. The participant, who had been in the business for approximately a week, told me that she was going to work with the script and “make it her own.”“No!” I cried out. “Don’t do that! Don’t make it your own!”My reasoning? This participant was a beginner. She knew nothing about sales or prospecting. She had a script that was crafted by someone who was highly successful on the telephone. This particular participant did not know enough to make it her own. More than likely, in making the script her own she would eliminate all of the powerful, persuasive and motivating language used by the sales super star who had given her the script. Some words are better than others. Some words are stronger and more evocative than others. When you are on the phone with a prospect, you have about 10 seconds to grab and hold your prospect’s attention. If you do not do that within that first 10 seconds, your call is more than likely over. If you get through that first 10 seconds, that buys you another 10 seconds. If you get through that 10 seconds it buys you yet another… and so on… 10 seconds is not a lot of time. To get through those 10-second increments, you want to use the most powerful words that you have at your disposal. If you are a b

    Just Ask One Simple Question
According to an article published in The Harvard Business Review there is a high degree of correlation between sales growth and customer satisfaction scores. Well, yeah! That’s logical. Satisfied customers return to vendors who perform at a high level. Additionally they refer others so, obviously, higher levels of satisfaction should normally translate into increased sales volume. But how do you find out your companies satisfaction score? The typical way is to survey the customers. Problem - usually very few survey forms are filled out and returned because most are time-consuming, complex affairs. The few people who return those surveys are at either end of the satisfaction spectrum, those who are very satisfied or those who are very dissatisfied. So let’s look at goals. What we really want to measure is whether a favorable or unfavorable trend is occurring – to see whether customers are more or less satisfied then they were in the past. If the trend is down, we have to dig deeper and find out why dissatisfaction is increasing. If the trend is up it is time to rejoice, pat the people responsible on the back and continue working to keep increasing the level of customer satisfaction. The easiest and fastest method of discovering the trend in the level of satisfaction is to ask just one question: “Were you satisfied enough with our product / service to recommend us to others?” That’s all. Just have the customer check off “yes” or “no” and mail or email it back. Over time, as data accumulates, trends in customer satisfaction will become evident.A division of General Electric found a direct relationship between the results of this one question and sales growth. They found this satisfaction

Amen.

    Two Eclipses Super Charge October
October's Libra Lunar Cycle is super charged by a New Moon Solar Eclipse on Monday Oct. 3rd at 6:33 AM EDT and then again by a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Oct. 17th at 7:04 AM EDT. The power of Monday's solar eclipse will unfold over the next 2 weeks and take on added significance 6 months from now. It kicks off a fresh start in your relationships and joint ventures sparking ideas and new ways to share your creative passions. This planetary set-up is positive and supportive... downright lucky. However, it's dependent on a positive attitude and well-thought-out intentions that are aligned with where you really want to go and who you really want your traveling companions to be. Envisioning the future is an important part of the New Moon process and you can expect favorable long-term results for all your positive efforts. Monday's New Moon solar eclipse begins its visible journey northwest of Spain with an annular eclipse (meaning that there's a ring of sunshine encircling the Moon) lasting for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. It then becomes a partial solar eclipse traveling southeast through Portugal and finally through Africa. The whole eclipse lasts 3 hours and 28 minutes. The Full Moon on Monday October 17th is accompanied by a lunar eclipse. This is a partial lunar eclipse, meaning that only part of the moon passes through the shadow of the earth. It will be visible in Western North America before sunrise, in Australia and Asia after sunset, in New Zealand late at night, and in Alaska and Hawaii, a few hours after midnight. The eclipse is nearly an hour-long beginning at 7:04 AM EDT. Lunar eclipses produce internal and emotional stress encouraging you to re

Remember we just read the parable of the sower, Jesus said; persecution arises because of the Word. The Word is very clear, this thorn in the flesh was a messenger sent from Satan, as you can see in vs. 7. (a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan.) God wanted to exalt Paul, he was His messenger to deliver the life giving Gospel. Satan didn’t want Paul to be exalted, he certainly doesn’t want the gospel, the good news going forth. His job is to try and defeat it before it gets started. The revelation of God’s Word will exalt you, and Satan will do everything he can to thwart the will of God in your life, that’s why he sent a messenger to try and stop Paul. Paul didn’t like it very much and he went to the Lord to try and get Him to do something about it, Jesus responded by saying my grace is sufficient for thee. In other words I’ve given you the ability to do something about it. Once we are submitted to God, we have been given the grace to defeat the devil, as the Apostle James said, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.''

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. This grace is not just so we can bear up under the onslaught of Satan. NO, that wouldn’t jive with the rest of the scriptures would it? No it wouldn’t. God’s Word doesn’t contradict itself, and as Peter said in the book of Acts, God is no respecter of persons. Whether it is the Apostle Paul, who received the revelation of this New Covenant or the newest babe in Christ, God’s Word remains true for all men. Over and over we see God gives the grace to do His will to those who are humble and submitted to Him, His will always lines up with His Word. His will and His Word are one. We serve a good God, He’s given us the ability to fight and win every time. God has made us more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherein Christ has made us free. Glory to God. Amen.

If you are reading this and you haven’t had the opportunity to receive the new birth, then know this, God’s will is for all to come to a saving knowledge of Him. God’s Word says He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Pe.3:9) Since we know that salvation is His will, we also know He will give us the grace to receive salvation. God has given you the ability to receive the new birth by His grace, and I would like to invite you to receive it by praying this prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, “…and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” (Jn.6:37), So I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'' (Ro. 10:13). I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, “…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” (Ro.10:9,10). I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, “… with the heart one believes to righteousness…” and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21), And I am saved! Thank You, Lord! I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God!

    Glory to God!!!! Amen.

If you truly want to know for sure that you are a child of God, then I would like to invite you to earnestly pray this prayer.
