    When I am writing of the gremlin I use the term he, or him this is not to be taken literally of course.

    Last time we were learning about the villain of intuition called the ego, the chattering monkey, or gremlin it really does not matter what you label it the fact is it remains the same thing no matter what.

    The gremlin is very active when, you are making a breakthrough of some kind in your life. You realize the more active it is the bigger the breakthrough into a new consciousness or new way of thinking.

    In order to get a hold of this thing we call ego or gremlin we must first be aware of it feel it, feel its presence. In order to accomplish this we must separate ourselves from it.

    In separating ourselves it makes it easier to relate to the gremlins airy style. Which makes it sometimes impossible to relate to but you can do it you really can.

    One way of doing this is to simply be here now. Make the now be your base from which to observe this gremlin of yours.

    By being here now you can see it and observe it and you will be aware of it. Doing some breathing will help you focus on it from this current moment. Breathing always assists in bringing you into the now.

    These areas that you will be centering on will be your body, this world in which you live as you experience it, also the world of imagination.

    To begin with let us breathe nice even breaths that pulls all the air into ourselves and our lungs.. Be aware of what and how you are feeling when you are breathing. Breathe deep and allow yourself to drift into the world of imagination, going there is normal and you will drift. When you are aware that you are moving from your breathing just bring it back and continue.

    Notice also that your biggest receptor is your skin and that this separates you from the rest of things in life going on around you.

    I want you to focus on that for a few minutes, and notice how you feel and what do you feel? You are separate but part of, you are aware of more than your gremlin and now you are in touch with it.

    Do you feel it when you breathe? Do you feel how your breath connects you to the now, and how you feel when you are connected to the now?

    To understand the gremlin you also must plant yourself firmly in this way of knowing.

    And that means being grounded, there are really no rules for this and all it means is that you are really aware of it. One simple way I would suggest is that you keep telling yourself you are being here now. As Baba Ram Das always said be here now.
