Before You Sell Your Heavy Equipment Business
The biggest mistake business owners make is waiting too long to sell. Have you ever heard, “I sold my business to early?” Compare that with the number of times you've heard somebody say, “I should have sold my business two years ago.” Unfortunately, waiting too long is probably the single biggest factor in reducing the proceeds from the sale of a privately held business. The erosion in business value typically is most pronounced in that last year before exiting. The decision to sell is often times a reactive decision rather than a proactive decision. An individual who spends 20 years running their business and controlling their outcomes often behaves differently in the exit from his business. The primary reasons for selling are events such as a serious health issue, owner burnout, the death of a principal, general industry decline, or the loss

Who are you in conversation with when you have your giving conversations? Who needs the unique gifts you offer?

In a sacred conversation there is a speaker and a responder. The responder%u2019s task is to put aside their own needs and focus on the needs of the speaker. Do you have anyone in your life who is able to focus on your needs during a sacred conversation about your inner life? Who are the individuals who "get" you and your unique gift?

Often these conversations show up spontaneously. Celebrate them. It can be illuminating to reflect back over the conversations of the last week or month and recognize the role they have played in your life. Consider the various aspects of your life and consider the four conversations in relation to each. We all need comforting, challenging, receiving and giving conversations in our work, our relationships, our finances, our intellectual development, our sexuality, our spirituality, etc.

Introduction To The Photoshop CS Tutorial
Are you amazed by the awesome pictures posted in magazines and various Internet sites? Believe it or not, but even if you are not a professional photographer, you could also come up with similarly fantastic pictures.Introducing the Adobe Photoshop CS. The Photoshop CS is the more advanced and updated versions of the Adobe Photoshop software that has been around for quite some time. During the pre-computer era, you were perhaps engrossed into the hobby of cutting out pictures for better album presentations. But now, everything can be done using the computer. Even the cameras with negative films on it are slowly becoming obsolete, in favor of the modern camera types, where images are stored not on films but virtually through computer memories. In that case, how could you make good albums or edit pictures? The Photoshop is here to save the
Skin is the great divide. On one side of your skin is your inner life. On the other side of your skin is your outer life. All our lives we strive for a sense of self, the essential experience of %u201CI am%u201D on both sides of our skin. The two sides of the skin generally reflect one another. Your inner life reflects your outer life and your outer life reflects your inner life. Striving for both the inner and outer sense of self generates and requires many conversations with others. Even with God.

Obviously there are many, many types of conversations. However, in my work as a personal counselor, I have recognized four conversations so essential to the sense of self that I have called them "sacred". They are sacred because they open the path to your "holy of holies," the threshold between your eternal "I Am" and your temporal, transitory personality.

Imagine conversations that awaken the distinction between your sense of self that is filled with lasting significance and the sense of self that is "here today, gone tomorrow." Both realities need to be honored with in the container of the conversation. You need to be honoring both the transitory personality and the lasting "I am." And most importantly, the individual or individuals with whom you are having these sacred conversations need to honor all aspects of your being.

The four sacred conversations have lasting significance to how you develop a true sense of your self and your destiny. I am sharing a brief picture of each of the four and have some suggested exercises.

Conversations for Inner Meaning: The Comforting Conversation &The Challenging Conversation

Your sense of inner meaning is served by comforting and challenging conversations. These two conversations evoke and encourage your sense of significance and purpose. When you lose your sense of self and are overcome with confusion, fear, sadness, or anger, you need a comforting conversation. In a comforting conversation your emotional balance and integrity are restored.

When you feel it is time to push your limits, find new capacities, create new perspectives, you need a challenging conversation. In a challenging conversation your ideas, desires and deeds are developed through expanding your inner sense of self.

Conversations for Outer Success: The Receiving Conversation & The Giving Conversation

Your success in the world is dependent on receiving and giving conversations. These two conversations provide the successful expression of your personal meaning in the world.

No one individual comes %u201Cfully-loaded.%u201D Part of being human is being incomplete. Success depends on asking for what you need from others. In a receiving conversation you request what you need for full self-expression and cannot provide for yourself. Each human being comes into the world with a need to contribute in their own special way. In a giving conversation you offer to the world what is uniquely yours to give. This allows you to serve your destiny. It is a gesture of humility, not grandiosity.

Thoughts on the Four Sacred Conversations

The four sacred conversations are indispensable to living your life any way you want to live it both inside and out. Although they are sacred, they equally serve both the material and spiritual realities of our lives. These four conversations establish and sustain your life and your %u201CI%u201D

    Questions for Pondering

Here are some questions to ponder: Who do you have comforting conversations with? A friend, mentor, therapist, spiritual teacher?

Are you aware when you need comforting? These are the conversations that restore and rebalance. Who is able to challenge you? This can be someone who asks tough questions or who mirrors back to you attitudes, reactions or behaviors that let you know it is time to grow or move to a new level. Do you read books that offer new perspectives? Do you engage in activities that take you outside your familiar ways and boundaries?

Do you know what you need to receive? Do you have a list of people who are resources? These are not ordinary resources although they may look ordinary. I call them destiny resources as they provide what you need to fully express yourself in the world.

    Understanding Number Systems
This is a somewhat technical subject, but it is one that will come in handy when you are working with computers, so stick with me through this article and you will understand number systems. I taught this subject to Army officers when I was on active duty many years ago, and I still remember it well. I was able to get it across to my students, and I can do the same for you if you will concentrate on it with me. I recommend that you work the problems to fully understand the subject. The number system we are taught and with which we deal daily in our lives is decimal. The base of this number system is 10. We are taught early that the positional values for this number system are ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, etc. We are taught this by rote, but we are not taught the rule on how to calculate them. But that is easy. Number systems always start with th

The Internet Has Several Free Spyware Removers
There are several legitimate spyware type applications that function similarly to spyware to check user activities. A key logger application from adware spyware removal software can help check if users are stealing any information from a company database. Sometimes this has a back draw and users may complain that the company has access to their personal information like credit card numbers if they use it while they are in the company. This can lead to lawsuits that may state that the company has no right to invade privacy. While normal home users may use free spyware removers, companies like these will definitely spend a lot of money to keep their updated versions of anti spyware software.Companies must also be sure to alert employees of their rights and to make them understand that it is necessary to maintain regulations about their confidential i

Classified Ads Market: How To Make Money In It
In this article a survey about one of the hottest market on Internet: online classified ads. Following In the Master's Footsteps
In these interesting times of change, millions of people the world over are struggling to find their personal truth - a truth that will sustain them through their present moments and through whatever the future may bring. There are as many definitions of what will happen to this planet in the next fifteen years as there are belief systems, but in the midst of the dissension is one commonality, and that is worldwide agreement that change - in whatever form it takes - is inevitable. The world just can't go on the way it is; something has to give, somewhere. In many ways, things are very much the way they were 2,000 years ago, when Jesus of Nazareth began his ministry. He taught from the perspective that the Jewish culture in which he was raised had lost their focus, and with it, their relationship with God. He warned the Pharisees - who were much

Which is the hardest conversation to ask for? Can you admit you need comforting? Are you willing to be challenged? Can you ask to have your needs met without feeling you are abandoning your strengths? Who is seeking what you have to give?

Who has come to you for a sacred conversation? How do you comfort another? Challenge another's soul so that it grows? What resources do you have to provide for others? Do you recognize and receive the gift another is giving?

I wish you a life of many sacred conversations. Each of us needs a rhythm of sacred conversation centered on our own path of self-development. To pay some one to be a responder to the first three conversations is often a path of genuine self-love. A good counselor will provide the elements of warmth, containment, encouragement and creative review and reflection.
