When she has low self esteem, it is often magnified as she tries to meet the demands made of her by her family, her job and other responsibilities. Often, she doesn’t take the time for herself that she needs in order to stay happy in her world. The result is that she can lose confidence in herself, which can cause her job and her family to suffer.

There are steps you can take to overcome this. Here are three tips to help low self esteem for a woman wanting to improve her self confidence.

Tip #1: Challenge the negative messages of your inner voice

If you listen closely, you’ll likely hear internal statements similar to this: “He says he liked dinner, but he’s just being nice. It was really terrible but he’s too polite to tell me what a rotten cook I am”. Instead of allowing that negative tone, exchange it for something like: “Wow, he really liked it. It might not have been perfect, but I worked really hard on this new recipe and I’m proud of the effort I put in. He says it’s good, and I believe him.”

By learning to hear and modify your thinking, you will be surprised how much this will help low self esteem issues.

    Tip #2: Practice Self-Nurturing

The secret to gaining self esteem for a woman like you is to take time for yourself. This can include: get enough sleep, get regular exercise, and eat nutritious meals regularly. Don’t be afraid to put yourself first sometimes.
