The Five Yoga Techniques That Matter >”I always find something wrong with the men I date.”There are five major Yoga techniques that all practitioners of Yoga are required to follow. These are: Techniques of posture Movement of joints Deep, controlled breathing Relaxation Meditation Each technique has its own role to play in making your mind and body healthier. The different postures that a Yoga practitioner is asked to execute helps in toning the body. These postures that are carried out sitting, standing or lying vary from simple exercises to very demanding ones.Several exercises have been worked out for the movement of joints. All beliefs are just thoughts you have continued to think for way too long. The City of Stoke-On-Trent is well known for the ceramic industry. It is better known by the locals as “the potteries”. The history of the production of pottery dates back to the 17th century. The area was ideal because of the abundance of clay and coal. Also salt and lead were needed used for the glazing and there was plenty of this in the area. In 1769 Josiah Wedgwood built one of Britain’s first large factories which became a famous name in the world of ceramics and is still in operation today but on a smaller scale. There are many museums around the city that go into details the whole history of the ceramics industry. There were lots of disease and illnesses in the ceramic industry and many people died due to the toxic substances that they were exposed too. Lead was one of the worst and is the most toxic to man. It was used to create colours on pottery and the painters and glaze- Now, some beliefs definitely serve you. You know them because every time you practice that belief, you feel good. But, others do not. These are called limiting beliefs. So, knowing that, isn't it easy to entertain the idea of choosing new thoughts? In time, the new thoughts replace the old beliefs, supporting your vision for your life and who you want to be. Limiting beliefs show up in every area of our lives. Maybe they came from something you were told over and over when you were a child. I hear many examples in my coaching practice, like: ”There’s always going to be someone smarter, prettier and better.” ”Money doesn’t grow on trees!” ”I am just destined to be the chunky girl!” ”Life is hard!" ”I have to work hard to make a lot of money!” ”I’m just not smart enough!” ”Life is difficult!” ”I’ll never meet the right guy!” ”It’s hard.” (It being everything they want to accomplish). ”That’s just not something I’ll ever be good at.” ”I always find something wrong with the men I date.” ”I know I just have to settle” ”I’ve never been good at (fill in the blank).” ”I know I won’t be happy until... So, knowing that, isn't it easy to entertain the idea of choosing new thoughts? In time, the new thoughts replace the old beliefs, supporting your vision for your life and who you want to be.Most of us would clearly agree that one of the best ways to grow and make progress in almost any field of endeavor, whether professional or personal, is to set and achieve a series of goals. By setting goals we can give ourselves a pathway to success, a set of directions that lead us step by step towards where we want to be or what we want to achieve. But simply setting goals is not enough. Our goals need something else. They need to be achievable. If we set goals that are inherently out of range, it only serves to set us up for failure or disappointment. So therein lies a dilemma. Set goals that are too low and we don’t push or force ourselves to change or move ahead. Set goals that are too high and we risk almost certain disappointment and failure. Our goals need to be set far enough out to ultimately cause a change, yet seemingly be just within our grasp. This likewise applies to set Limiting beliefs show up in every area of our lives. It is spiritually wealthy. Almost every path that leads to enlightenment has been discovered, and every path has one thing in common, the knowledge of the self.Swami Ramdev, an exponent in yoga practices, has introduced himself as yet another drop in this spiritual ocean. His unique contribution has been in helping ordinary people lead a healthy life through the practice of Pranayam. In very simple terms, Pranayam can be thought of as a series of techniques for breath control that were developed as a part of the ancient Indian system of Yoga. Furthermore, these techniques were often thought of as being esoteric and complex and portrayed as being unsuitable for lay people. Consequently their use was often limited to advanced practitioners of Yoga and undertaken only under the strict supervision of an experienced t ”Life is hard!" ”I have to work hard to make a lot of money!” ”I’m just not smart enough!” ”Life is difficult!” ”I’ll never meet the right guy!” ”It’s hard.” (It being everything they want to accomplish). ”That’s just not something I’ll ever be good at.” ”I always find something wrong with the men I date.” ”I know I just have to settle” ”I’ve never been good at (fill in the blank).” ”I know I won’t be happy until... In a little while we'll talk a Reduce The Sale To The Ridiculous >”I always find something wrong with the men I date.”This technique involves paring down your request to something that seems manageable to your prospect. Let's say you are trying to convince someone to purchase a life insurance policy. The client wants a $250,000 policy and you feel that is not high enough for his needs. To adequately take care of his family, you suggest a $500,000 policy. He feels that the monthly payment for a $500,000 policy is too high. So you break it down for him, telling him that for an extra 50 cents a day, or the cost of a can of soda, he can insure himself and adequately take care of his family if something were to happen to him. With this contrast, your client can see that the extra 50 cents is worth it to have the extra $250,000 in coverage. You have reframed your request into simple terms to help your prospect see it fitting into his way of life. Sometimes it is a good idea to simply give your ”I know I just have to settle” ”I’ve never been good at (fill in the blank).” ”I know I won’t be happy until... (fill in the blank)." As you can see there are too many to name here. So, what's yours? In a little while we'll talk about ways to get in touch with limiting beliefs and how to rid them from your life...one at a time! They usually show up when you are about to try something new, go out on a limb or stretch outside of your comfort zone. However, these limiting beliefs are meant to be challenged! In fact, it’s imperative that they are because they will leave you paralyzed! Think of it this way: you are painting your picture of possibility, or thinking about what you want to create in your life. As you are doing this, some of those limiting beliefs pop into your head. When that happens, you are running interference with the Universe. It’s like you are saying, “I want this, but look at this over here!” and, “I really want to accomplish this but look at (limiting belief)”. Now, you are sending mixed signals to the Universe. And more than likely, you will not manifest what you want. In other words, you manifest more of what you don’t want. So, let’s talk about some processes to clear those beliefs. 1) QUIET. Find a quiet place where you can just sit and be left alone. 2) ASK. Ask the Universe to show you the limiting beliefs you have. (Hint: This is easy if you start out by thinking about what you
