Comcast Tech Catches 40 Winks, Then Unemployment by telling yourself (preferably out loud) that you ARE assertive, you ARE a swimmer, you ARE supportive of others. (Fill in your own skills and potentials!)
After reading a news post listed near my business on Merchant Circle, I can only shake my head in wonder. According to the information hot on the blogs, a Comcast employee not only wandered into a house to do some work but managed to take a nap - and was filmed doing so. That video wound up on the 'net and generated a great deal of bad press for Comcast. It leaves me to wonder, however, what type of avenues this might open up for the small business owner.I'd like to take you quickly through the text of the video (sorry to spoil it for you, you can still go and w
Are You Overqualified for Your Job? Go into any bookstore and you will find a big selection of self-help and personal improvement products. Most everyone (and I’ll bet everyone reading this) wants to improve. We know we need to get better, and we want to get better. We may want to improve our personal relationships, our business capabilities, our ability to be disciplined, our desire to juggle four chain saws, or any of hundreds of other things. In that book store you can find books to help you do any of those things!
When you are professionally overqualified, there are usually lots of stressful issues, which have to be dealt with. When you are in this situation, there is a constant internal struggle and debate going on in your mind about your presence at that job. You keep asking yourself, “What am I doing here? What am I doing with my life?" You even begin to question who you are and the things you stand for! When others inquire why such a talented and qualified person like yourself would accept a job like that, you justify it by saying, “It’s because of the money”, or that you are still looking for something better or that it’s only a temporary In many cases though, those books start half way through the process. After writing the last chapter about identifying our potential I realized that identification of our potential, while critical, isn’t the complete answer. It is only the first step. If we want to reach our potential, we must start by identifying our greatest areas of potential. With that knowledge, we must take a step-by-step approach to making that potential reality in our lives. It is no different than a business identifying its core strengths in order to best capitalize on the opportunities they see. When we start our personal improvement program with identified strengths or potential, we ignite our personal rocket – and begin our trip to greater heights and achievements. Here then is a step-by-step process that you can use to convert your potential into results! 1. Identify it. I’ve already helped you do that. Whether you have followed those steps in the last chapter or are just aware of a skill you want to develop, this is a necessary first step.
Expense Reports an find books to help you do any of those things!
An expense report is the statement covering all the expenses of official or personal travel of an employee that is to be submitted to the employer for the purpose of reimbursement. Expense reports also serve the purpose of personal record of the expenses or for accounting and tax payment preparation. The expenses generally include air/train fare, hotel accommodations, food expenditures and other travel-related expenses. Often, the employees take too much time for the submission of expense report, but the process should be quick. The process of expense reporting can be made simple and quick only through automation with web-based expense rep In many cases though, those books start half way through the process. 5 Ways To Automate Your Business Immediately must take a step-by-step approach to making that potential reality in our lives.
Have you ever realized, as a business owner you frequently repeat some tasks more than twice daily? If yes is your response, I bet you also didn’t realize the amount of time used to repeatedly do the same tasks. For example, after a sample session with a potential client, I explain my services, fees and expectations as well as ask a series of questions to see if we will be a good fit for one another. This process took an additional 15 – 20 minutes beyond the allotted sample session time. I decided that I could save time and close the sale quicker if this process was automated, so I developed a Welcome Packet and Questions that the poten It is no different than a business identifying its core strengths in order to best capitalize on the opportunities they see. The Frontal Lobes Driven Assertiveness; and 4. The Perceived Assertive Behaviour. The reptilian emotional assertiveness derives its name from the strong influence of the amygdala that is located in the limb 1. Identify it.
