Finding a Good eBay Seller and How to Spot the Bad Ones ir consequent knowledge. When original knowledge directs the integration of all subsequently acquired knowledge, the soul grows more confident and contented with its content. Since society is composed of souls, as souls grow so grows society.EBay is possibly the largest online market place, with millions of transactions happening every day. You can find just about anything imaginable on eBay, from that toy you remember fondly from your childhood, to cars and houses. But along with this huge selection and resource there are dangers as well. The core of the eBay experience is the auction concept where individual Sellers put items up for sale and Buyers can then bid on these items. Here in lies the danger. Who are these Sellers? Can you trust them? Will they send you your item after you have sent your payment? Will they supply customer service after the sale in case something goes wrong? Many times you will have nothing to go on and you will have to place your trust in the eBay Seller. This is especially true of new Sellers and Sellers who only sell a few items and never build up a track record. But there are several ways that you can get a sense of the Seller before you bid on an item, especially from Sellers who have been on eBay a while or who sell a large number of items.EBay has some useful tools to help you qualify the Seller ahead of time. The first and most valuable of these is the eBay Feedback system. Whenever a transaction is made on eBay both the Buyer and Seller have the opportunity to leave a short comment about the transaction. EBay calls these “Feedbacks.” The feedback can be labeled as Positive, Neutral, or Negative. Then a comment of about 80 characters can be left to further describe the purchase experience.Mostly these feedback comments will praise fast shipping or the successful completion of the purchase. You can usually ignore these comments as they are either automatically p I recall an illustration of a young boy who was pestering his father for his attention during the Super Bowl. The boy was persistent so the father, looking around for something to occupy his son’s time for a couple of hours, spotted a picture of the globe on the front page of the newspaper. He turned it into a puzzle by tearing the page into many variously shaped pieces. He then instructed the boy to put the pieces back together. He was startled when his son returned less than ten minutes Exhibit Booths In this second of two parts, the purpose of knowledge, education and thinking are explored and conclusions regarding how to integrate them for maximum benefit are offered for your consideration.Exhibit booths are all about attracting new customers and business partners, or anyone who is interested in the exhibit. Exhibitors launching new products or services always try to put their best foot forward in order to generate wider interest from their customers. By placing eye-catching booths, exhibitors ensure that they are easily distinguishable from their competitors and that their presentation typically is in sync with their product or service offerings.Booths can be classified into several types, based on their position on the exhibit floor. There are standard booths with 10 feet by 10 feet size, perimeter wall booths that come in the standard size but are located at the outer perimeter walls of the exhibit floor, and island booths that contain four or more standard units with aisles on all four sides. To design a booth, exhibitors usually use the services of their in-house creative resources or seek the services of specialized professional exhibit booth service providers. The booth services offered by professional providers include a gamut of items, including lighting and display options. They have a solution for every need – from exhibitors seeking basic booths to the ones looking for contemporary high-tech booths.Usually, booths are lightweight and easy to transport. Additionally, they are also very affordable. Tradeshow booths, for example, come at affordable prices and contain good graphics, and are very compact. Recent years have witnessed a greater demand for fabric booths that blend modern design with glossy colors.Typically a booth includes an 8-foot-high draped backdrop with about 3-foot-high drapes on three sides, an identification sign The Purpose of Knowledge There are two types of knowledge. The first is “original” knowledge: it is primordial, intuitive and innate to every human being. Original knowledge is more than mere bits of information about something: it is the clear comprehension and appreciation of the truth of one’s unique existence. Descartes’ maxim, “I think, therefore, I am” literally means, “I think, therefore, I know that I am.” Original knowledge is that within each of us that testifies to the uniqueness of our existence so that when this knowledge becomes the subject of our contemplation we can say, “I think, therefore, I know who I am.” Although it is intrinsic to every human being, original knowledge is not self-evident. It must be mined and uncovered through thoughtful reflection and intentional rumination. The second type of knowledge is “consequent” knowledge. It is subsequent, derivative, external and is not innate. Original knowledge is self-knowledge; everything else is the content of consequent knowledge. It is the immense array of data and stimuli that are encountered external to the Self. It is not entirely accurate to say that it is knowledge per se, rather it is the body of information from which knowledge is fashioned. The purpose of both types of knowledge is to provide the means for the growth of the Self (Soul) and, secondarily, of society. Knowledge is the nutrient for soul and social development; but not just any knowledge. Knowledge is not neutral. It either strengthens or withers the knower. Formal education, citing academic freedom, facilitates the exploration and acquisition of all kinds of “consequent” knowledge without regard for its “healthfulness” for the souls of the learners and the societies in which they live. It is this “knowledge for the sake of knowledge” approach to education that results in the ill effects of “too much of a good thing.” Without a guiding centering principle, the learner will be too easily tossed around by the enormous amount of information that comprises what he/she knows. When learners are encouraged to first get in touch with their original knowledge, they proceed with confidence to organize what they subsequently learn into a meaningful and satisfying whole. It is true that some learners will emerge from formal education with hope in their hearts and a bounce in their step. Others, exposed to the same content, end their academic careers (sometimes prior to graduating) with despondency and dread of the future. Some students will be more acquainted than others with what they already know (their original knowledge) and what they can do. This recognition and understanding of their original knowledge provides them with a framework within which to properly place their consequent knowledge. When original knowledge directs the integration of all subsequently acquired knowledge, the soul grows more confident and contented with its content. It must be mined and uncovered through thoughtful reflection and intentional rumination.Commercial banks offer a number of services to their customers, but in recent years, many people have chosen to use check cashing services instead of banks. Check cashing services are an alternative service sector to traditional banking service. This service has proven to take over the role of traditional financial institutions such as banks and credit unions. The service is offers various options. Customers can bring any type of check to cash, including personal checks, payroll checks, government checks, insurance checks, tax Refund checks, settlement checks, and Social Security checks. The success of these alternative financial services is due to many factors. Partly, it is due to its ability to compose products and operations to meet the needs of households with little or no month-to-month funds. Moreover, this service is beneficial to customers as well as the financial institutions. It is a “win-win’ situation for both the financial institute as well as the customer. The financial institutions can set up this system at a low cost and pass on this benefit as a low fee to the customer. As a customer, your banking needs are dealt with easily and quickly at a discounted rate, saving you time and money. This benefit is even greater for those individuals who do not have a relationship with any traditional financial institutions.Check Automatic Check Cashing Machines that can do transactions without cashier’s in-person intervention can also do cashing services. As we know, this service was established for use when traditional financial services fail to fulfill the customers’ needs. When learners are encouraged to first get in touch with their original knowledge, they proceed with confidence to organize what they subsequently learn into a meaningful and satisfying whole. When recently talking with a Supply Chain man about the advances in business distribution and the US military it occurred to me that perhaps I should take this conversation a little deeper for all students of logistical supply chains. I would like to discuss with you theory based Logistics, scheduling, manufacturing models, distribution strategies and to do that I will need to catch you up to speed with some of my thoughts on this subject matter. So I have provided links to information I have written and give to the world from my knowledge base, which can assist you.Perhaps this information with a little help of the knowledge of the system that the military logistic officers use to protect this great nation, can help them formulate thoughts or even suggest a plan to improve logistical efficiency in the US Military. You see, in this day and age of moving components to the battlespace everything must be done without detection, as to not tip off your enemy of logistical movement and warn them, thus losing the element of surprise. It is no different in business when launching a new product, you have to use a lot of thought to not give clues to what you are doing or misdirect to allow your competitor to assume something else. Here are the ideas, which those involved in logistical supply chains might find somewhat relevant to both Military Logistics, business and franchising.http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php?s=9d273564b15ff133e60999f9ca7f49d0&showtopic=196http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php?s=9d273564b15ff133e60999f9ca7f49d0&showtopic=601http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php?s=7e40269fe34140927d8643de919afc04&showtopic=692Any wa It is true that some learners will emerge from formal education with hope in their hearts and a bounce in their step. When learners are encouraged to first get in touch with their original knowledge, they proceed with confidence to organize what they subsequently learn into a meaningful and satisfying whole. You know there's a difference between pornography and erotica, don't you? Think about it. We'll get to it later. Before I get to the purpose of sex scenes in fiction I will start with the purpose of fiction. You read fiction because you enjoy it. When you read a really good book, you are off into another world. An intimate world.Fiction provides a degree of intimacy rarely found in real life. Where else can you read another person's mind, discover his conscious and subconscious motives?Humans are story-tellers. Everyone has a story to tell because everyone uses language to share visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, and kinesthetic memories.Everyone listens to, or reads, a well told story.Tension makes a good story. Now, here's the kicker: believable tension among identifiable characters in authentic situations, no matter how imaginary, creates unforgettable stories.Think back to a favorite novel you read as a child-one that transported you and showed you new information about human nature. Mine was "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". I was ten or eleven. My mother saw me reading it and said, "Oh, you don't want to read that!" I had nearly finished reading it so continued behind her back. That book taught me about sex. No one else did. It was a gentle teaching.Perhaps that's why I approve of sex scenes in fiction and why I write them.Everyone has sexual feelings. How each person lives with his sexual feelings is idiosyncratic. No two people have identical attitudes toward sex, male myths to the contrary.A sexual scene in a novel can be highly effective for characterization and theme. When original knowledge directs the integration of all subsequently acquired knowledge, the soul grows more confident and contented with its content. Since society is composed of souls, as souls grow so grows society.Notaires always oversee the legal aspects of the purchases of property for sale in France. Different from the English system, the notaire acts as the role of a solicitor, but on behalf of the state. English buyers often feel uncomfortable with the single notaire and often employ British based legal advisors to help out with the French bureaucracy that occurs with the purchase of property for sale in France. This is more expensive though but is often thought as money well spent, but it can also be thought as a waste of money; it all depends on individual preference. Some purchasers appoint two notaires, it is possible to do this as long as they can communicate effectively together but this is not necessary and does not cost more.Notaires are basically lawyers and thus have little interest in estate agents in the purchasing of property for sale in France process. You will need to make an appointment with a notaire, they normally only speak French and will show you a selection of houses with often limited information. To view properties it is necessary to make further appointments that normally have to be accompanied. Upon deciding to purchase a property for sale in France all the paperwork will be in French so it is often advised to obtain some help with the translation. At the time of completion it will be up to you to arrange the provisions for all amenities and to cater for all required insurance. It is also up to you to provide all the finance necessary and to discover builders if any restoration is required. When carrying out the final handover of property for sale in France you will probably need to put down a deposit ranging in between 10-15% of the asking price. Th I recall an illustration of a young boy who was pestering his father for his attention during the Super Bowl. The boy was persistent so the father, looking around for something to occupy his son’s time for a couple of hours, spotted a picture of the globe on the front page of the newspaper. He turned it into a puzzle by tearing the page into many variously shaped pieces. He then instructed the boy to put the pieces back together. He was startled when his son returned less than ten minutes later with the page perfectly reconstructed. “How did you do this so fast?” exclaimed the father. The son replied, “It’s simple, Dad. There was a picture of a man on the other side and all I had to do was put the man back together and then the world fell into place!” Our personal world falls into place, which is our proper place in the universe, when we use our original knowledge to accurately put together all the many pieces of consequent knowledge we’ve acquired throughout our lives. Some knowledge will be discarded as inaccurate, impractical, harmful or unsupportive of our uniqueness and self-development. Napoleon Hill, author of “Think and Grow Rich,” understood the need to rid one’s Self of accumulated impoverished knowledge. He wrote, “Not all knowledge which one accumulates through experience is accurate.” Some knowledge will be embraced and woven into the fabric of our distinctive individuality. Every element of our knowing will be assigned its proper place within our soul. It is at this point you become confident in your true Self, unafraid of your uniqueness, unperturbed by external events and opinions, bold and fearless as you face your future. The human soul is a basic element of creation. Properly placed knowledge is the sole (and soul) ingredient for the expansion and variation of human creation. Every act of acquiring and revealing knowledge is an act of creation. When something new is properly learned and incorporated into one’s mind, the brain becomes something different both physiologically and psychologically than it was previously. To some degree, however big or small, perceived or unperceived by one’s self or others, a different person has been created through the acquisition of new knowledge. I am in agreement with Oliver Wendell Holmes when he said, “the mind, once expanded by a new idea, can never return to its original dimension.” Proper knowledge, then, is the primary means of the on-going development of the Self. Both original and consequent knowledge serve to expand and deepen the meaning and significance of the human soul with the former being the director of the latter. The Purpose of Education Instead of putting into or filling up empty-headed students with knowledge they didn’t have, the ancients approached educating the human mind as an endeavor to reach a clear understanding of and appreciation for who one was as a unique individual. The Latin word from which our English word, educate, stems is “educo,” meaning “to bring out, draw out, lead out, march out.” The purpose of education was to “bring out” from within that which was already there by virtue of birth. Instead of bringing out what lies within, modern formal education systems often “educate out” of the child what was originally there by covering it up with what often turns out to be extraneous and superfluous information. There is much “data din” and “knowledge noise” pervading contemporary education. Shel Si
