Criminal apologists tell us millions of immigrants come here to do work Americans won’t do. This is true only in the sense they will do these jobs for far less than fair market wages. So the jobs they do are not available to citizens at a living wage. The wages for citizens in related work are also depressed because the citizen can be replaced by a “guest worker” in the marketplace. We now have an estimated eleven million “guest workers” and the intention is to have many millions more to compete for jobs and drive down legal wages.
