Actually from what I can see this is not truly a fair assessment, because if you look at Japan and Europe and their personal tech devices they are ahead of the US Populations and their cell phones, gadgets and toys are superior to ours. Although I am not a video game player; too busy living in the real world a warp speed, I can say that I had the very first cell phones and repeater phones in my business and they helped me immensely, in fact at the time, we did not even have fax machines and it was difficult to send information.

Technology does not kill society; people kill society. Technology therefore is neither good or bad, it just is. It can become either good or bad depending on how it is used. So before we condemn the latest and greatest technologies available in the present period, we ought to be considering that fact. Think on this in 2006.
