Hiring Decisions- Balancing the Pluses and Minuses of the Job Opportunity Available
The applicant across the desk is the potential answer to your prayers. They have a sparkling resume, glowing references, and experience in the outdated software package you’re still running. The applicant is nervous but you’re anxious too. You want this person to work for you and you want to attract them to your business. The big question is: Just how hard should you sell your company?Though there are plenty of availabl

Are You In A Groove Or A Rut?
Ruts: the routines in our work and lives that have become uninteresting and bothersome.Everyone has a favorite rut or two. They are comfortable, familiar and undemanding. If you stay in them long enough you begin to equate them with who you are and buy in to the belief that remaining steadfastly in them is all you can expect out of life.Ruts are furrows, gullies, creases and (dare I say) wrinkles where we tend to

    1. Get up earlier. I know, that alarm clock already goes off way too soon. But, if you get up even 30 minutes earlier, you can get your day started and get more accomplished sooner. This will allow time in the middle or end of your day to take in the sites, get some shopping done, or just sit and enjoy your d?cor.

    2. Attack your to-do list right away. As soon as you sit down at your desk, start ticking things off of your list. Check your e-mail later in the morning. Dangers of Contract Negotiations With Non-English Speaking Consumers
California like the rest of the country has many non-English or limited English speaking residents particularly within the Latino population. To capture these markets many companies often employ bilingual individuals. Sometimes these bilingual individuals chose to take advantage of the limited English speaking for greater profitability to the business and to line their own pockets. While limited English speaking customers may seem lik

Is Your Yellow Page Ad a Wimp?
That’s right, a wimp: a poor performing weakling among a group of muscle-builders. Did you slap it together in an attempt to get the Yellow Page rep off your back or was it something that they suggested? How do you know if it is competitive or not? You need to understand these things way before you place the ad.You have a lot at stake. There’s all that money you are spending annually. Then there is the need to bring in new custome

It is so easy to get lost in all of that… ask me how I know.

If you start working right away and save e-mail for later, you’ll accomplish more earlier in your day. Also, don’t leave your e-mail open during the day. It’s too easy to see the e-mail alert. Only open your e-mail during set times. Check it 3 or 4 times per day, take care of what needs to be done and then leave the fun stuff for after your work is complete.
