    Embroidering on Jackets
EMBROIDERING ON JACKETSDigitizing and Embroidery TipsWHEN TO CHOOSE EMBROIDERYJackets are, for the most part, made of sturdy, tightly woven fabric and offer an ideal surface for embroidery. They run the gamut from conservative, ivy-league jackets to “off-the-wall” designer styles available in bright colors and bold geometric shapes. With such a broad range of jacket styles available, embroidery applications are appropriate in a wide variety of styles themselves—from small, signature logos to flashy “billboard” treatments.LOCATION<

A Push Culture Or A Push & Pull Culture - For B2b Companies
There are broadly two kinds of businesses. B2C, businesses that sell to individual customers, and B2B, businesses that sell to other businesses. B2C and B2B are two very different kinds of businesses. They look different, talk different and walk different. So they have always promoted their products and services differently. B2C businesses have mostly a PUSH and PULL culture. B2B businesses typically have just a Selling culture, a PUSH culture.B2C businessses have been branding their products and services for over a century. The have an established Branding culture. But until recently, most B
Before becoming a full time entrepreneur (or ontamanure, as my daughter calls me) I worked my share of jobs and had my share of bosses. Some of the jobs I enjoyed, some I did not. The same is true for the bosses. Some were decent folks who treated me with the same respect I gave them while others would have been better suited running a concentration camp. I shouldn’t complain, though, because it was the worst boss I ever had who ultimately motivated me to start my own business as a way of escaping the shack
Bang Bang-Make Room In the Walk In
During long sticky days at sea, one of the many exciting activities offered to passengers (we called them cones for some reason) on a cruise ship is skeet shooting. We used lead free pellets and biodegradable skeet discs to make certain that no creatures of the sea were harmed in any way. Never mind that we were handing a shotgun over to an inebriated, over heated, somewhat older and usually male cone. Happily full from the generous late afternoon lunch buffet and rum-runners, these cones would pay about thirty dollars just to pop off a few rounds and hopefully hitting enough targets to brag about it at

4 Tips To Reach Total Financial Freedom Sooner Than You Ever Dreamed!
STOP and picture what it would be like to have TOTAL Financial Freedom, or to be Rich or Wealthy and have FULL CONTROL over your life. Certainly financial freedom is something we are all striving for... right!?! I mean who wants to work for the rest of your life and have nothing to show for it?...or... Who is happy living paycheck-to-paycheck and having someone else control how much money you can make?...or... Who likes being told what time you have to wake up every morning, what you must do everyday, and what time you can go home in the evening?...or... Who enjoys earning just

    Inbound Call Centers
Call centers are becoming increasingly popular all over the world today, especially with companies now having a centralized customer service and support center. Call centers play a critical part in most modern companies, as they fulfill the need to create a strong link between a company and its customers. A call center is basically an office where inbound calls to the company are accepted and where outbound calls to customers and clients are made. Call centers are usually categorized into two types: inbound call centers and outbound call centers. An inbound call center typically supports calls received

Is your Boss a Dragon Lady?
Is your boss a Dragon Lady?Everyone has had a bad female boss or two in their day. But have you ever worked for a DRAGON LADY? What’s a Dragon Lady boss, you ask? Here are a few examples of what a Dragon Lady boss does:There’s the tale of a boss that did not pay her workers before Christmas vacation and then called a meeting at 9 a.m. on the day after New Year’s. She opened the meeting with a condescending ‘So, did Santa give you everything that you wanted?’ and then she scanned the room and told each of her paycheck-less employees what their New Year’s resolutions should be.Then the

In a previous column I talked about how the management style (and personality) of the person in charge plays a big part in the employee turnover rate. While some bosses will never understand that management by terrorism does not breed lasting loyalty, I’m glad to report that many companies are now going out of their way to hang on to the top talent.
