You can't escape all of the negativity and doubters. Instead, use it to your advantage. No one believes you can work at home or open your own business? Prove them wrong and use it for motivation. When my energy is low, I visualise what people may be saying about my career change.

Also, realize people generally have your best interests in mind. Don't get upset or defensive by what may be perceived as negativity. I guarantee you most want you to be successful, but dropping everything for personal freedom and taking huge risks are not what our society has been trained to learn.
